Health and Wellness Co-Chair

Tessa is a Molecular Cell Biology student studying the role of mitochondrial phosphorylation on skeletal and cardiac muscle postnatal development in the lab of Dr. Natalie Niemi. Outside of the lab, Tessa likes to explore St. Louis coffee shops, attend country concerts, hike, cook, and bake (especially for my lab mates!). As a H&W co-chair, I am excited to continue talking about mental health and overall well-being in academia, and work toward creating a more supportive and inclusive academia.
